The Black United Fund of Michigan, Inc. (BUF of Michigan) is committed to supporting, developing, and implementing impactful youth empowerment programs through collaborative partnerships for the underserved and underrepresented in the community. We have been serving this community for 50 years with integrity, commitment, and excellence. As part of our 50th Anniversary celebration this year, we are kicking off our BUF Sunday Campaign and would love to have your support!

The BUF Sunday Campaign is an annual campaign where churches of diverse denominations rally together in support of BUF of Michigan’s programming and services. This year's campaign will begin on August 1, 2021 and end on October 1, 2021. During that time, we would like for you to designate one or more of your Worship Services to host a special BUF Sunday collection, or for your Church to make a monetary donation of at least $500.

All participating churches will receive special recognition on a 50th Anniversary BUF of Michigan plaque, which will be showcased at our 50th Anniversary Gala, and permanently displayed in our office. Each church will also be listed on our website and on all of our social media.

Your support during this celebratory period will further empower us to continue our mission and make a difference in the lives of our children. If it would be more convenient, we would be happy to have a BUF of Michigan team member join your congregation during your BUF Sunday Service and/or pick up your Church’s donation.
