The Black United Fund of Michigan, Inc. (BUF) has a rich 41 year heritage of identifying and funding innovative programs that reach a diverse demographic throughout the state of Michigan. Since 1970, BUF has raised millions of dollars for thousands of non-profit organizations and programs that address issues related to Economic Empowerment, Education, Health, Culture, Community Development and Family Enrichment. Awarding grants totaling between $1,500 to $20,000, per agency, BUF expects Accountability, Evaluation and Measurable Results from awardees.
