Support BUF

As a primary resource, you can make your contribution to BUF through:
payroll deduction accounts with local employers from government, education, healthcare, law, civic and corporate partnerships.  Please inquire with your employer for ways to partner with BUF.

Or, you may contribute through private, direct contributions to BUF.

Your support of our annual fundraisers is always welcome.  Our major fundraisers are:

• The Committee of 100 – A coalition of 100 individual contributors pledging $100 or more, annually.
• BUF Sunday – On a designated Sunday each year, local churches that rally the support of leadership and parishioners on behalf of BUF.
• Annual Benefit Celebration – Designed to promote, inspire and encourage the community’s continued support.
• Annual Golf Outing – BUF’s major recreational fundraiser that draws over 100 golfers to a fun-filled day featuring 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast, lunch on the turn, a banquet, entertainment and great gifts.
• Development Commission – Designed to identify and cultivate annual major gifts of $500 to $10,000, or more, from private sources throughout the community.

Additional Support

BUF accepts auxiliary support such as:

• Volunteer Corps – People who affirm the BUF vision and objectives by contributing their time, energy and ideas.
• Ministerial Advisory Board – Ministers who encourage positive growth by serving as the link between BUF, the church and the communities we serve.
• Resource Allocation – BUF has a diverse board of directors comprised of clergy, business, civic and other community leaders. They review all written funding and/or resource requests and make determinations based on BUF’s policies and guidelines.
